Why should women strength train?

There are so many benefits to strength training for women including resiliency to injury, increased energy, improved sleep, better stress management, and increased confidence. Not to mention the body composition goals that many women desire!

However, the strength space is often crowded with masculine energy and false stigmas that leave many women intimidated or confused about how to get started. And let’s not forget that women (especially postpartum women) have unique core and pelvic floor considerations that are important to remember to safely progress their strength.

We thought it was time for women to have access to a program that guides them in navigating the strength training space and teaches them how to progress their strength and reap the many benefits that comes with that, while also including core and pelvic health considerations and training that are unique to women’s health.

And we believe StrongHER will provide just that for so many women!

What if I’m new to strength training?

Then this is the program for you! It’s designed to include a little hand holding and extra guidance to take the intimidation factor out of exercise programming. As you get more confident (or if you already are), then you’ll be able to skip the handholding parts of the workouts and jump right in.

What equipment do I need to do the workouts?

It depends on the program that you choose! Make sure you view the equipment requirements before selecting your program version.

Do I have to have access to a gym?

No! There are at home options for the program, depending on the equipment you have at home already, or want to invest in.

Is this program only for moms?

No! These workouts are great for anyone at any stage of life, but have specific considerations to protect those that have already had a pregnancy and labor & delivery. These would be wonderful workouts to do as you prepare your body for pregnancy, or even if you never plan to have children.
