Meet Amanda

Hi, I’m Dr. Amanda! I found my passion for pelvic health and working with moms after years in a general orthopedic setting when I realized that we do a pretty lousy job of supporting moms. The way I see it, moms are freaking superheroes! You do so much for everyone around you and you deserve to be supported and to feel good in your body while you do it. I truly love getting to be a support system for women, especially as you navigate pregnancy and postpartum and all of the bodily changes that come with it. Most of all, I love helping moms and soon to be moms just like you keep or regain your identity by helping you move your body in ways that feel empowering to you!

Helping you feel strong through pregnancy and regain that strength in postpartum is where the magic happens. Whole body, core, and pelvic floor strength are so important if you have dreams of running and playing with your kids, keeping up with mom life, keeping your regular exercise routine, and having the energy and resiliency to do it all. Strengthening your body doesn’t have to be surrounded by fear of injury or pelvic floor dysfunction. I’m here to take the fear and questions out of moving your body through pregnancy and postpartum!

“Amanda is so great at what she does in helping women get back to feeling healthy and strong again after having a baby! So many people just shrug things off as “that’s just what happens after having a baby” but Amanda actually hears you and understands how important it is to get back to feeling yourself. Thanks for all of your expertise and kindness, Amanda!!”

“Amanda was by far the best investment I made during my second pregnancy.  She thoroughly listened and didn’t rush through the appointments. She made sure that everything needed was addressed. With my second delivery, I had no tearing and my pelvic floor strength is much better than my first pregnancy because of Amanda.  She is truly the best and I’ll be forever grateful!

Literally cannot say enough good things about Dr. Amanda. Pelvic floor PT is a must for woman post-childbirth, and she is the best out there (and I’ve gone to a few!). She is consent based, extremely thorough in her explanations, and truly listens to your goals to help you recover after having a baby.”

“The most important thing I took away is that what is common for women post childbirth (like incontinence) isn’t normal, and that it is never too late to start healing. Birthing parents-this is such an important thing to understand!! I am back to my pre-pregnancy fitness levels, and have a far better understanding of my core and pelvic floor than I ever did before. I would (and have!) recommend her to anyone.”

“Amanda has been absolutely incredible! I started seeing her late in my 2nd trimester for hip pain, and continued to see Amanda for birth prep and recovery postpartum. She is not only knowledgeable but kind and helpful when sharing and teaching you about your pelvic floor.

I’ve been able to get back to being active with confidence that I’m helping my body heal and preventing any further damage-all thanks to Amanda! I highly, highly recommend Amanda if you’re seeking out Pelvic Floor Therapy!”
